- Malted Hibiscus And Blueberry Mead, It is the fruit of a joint collaboration between Sakiškės Beer and Superstition Meadery, one of the most famous meaderies in the USA. To represent the beer, we started with a very light malt bill, aided by a particularly mild and bright Heidelberg malt. However, the main fermentable sugars come from honey. In this case, local, Lithuanian honey. The champagne yeast carries out a relatively dry and clean fermentation. During the maturation process, we added rose hips and Arizona cinchona blossom to the mead. These additives give the fruity pink colour, the aroma of the berries and the sweetness of the flowers. At the end of the process, the mead was further sweetened with local honey and lightly saturated with carbonic acid.
