There is a province in Western Finland called Ostrobothnia. The soul of the landscape is dark and barren – this is where you find Mallaskoski Brewery. At Mallaskoski the sun doesn’t shine, life isn’t rosy and small talk is considered overrated. The roots of Mallaskoski lead back to 1921, when its founder Johan Wallenius decided to make a living by following his passion. Our beers are still handmade, without additives, using the same traditional yeast and artisanal craftmanship as Johan used almost a century ago. In our beers you can taste the strong Nordic temper and the world’s cleanest waters. Raised from the hard ground, fruit of the frozen land. Even today the murky Mallaskoski beers are man made, without additives, using the same traditional yeast and the world’s most pure water while the thundering falls grumble in the background.
