Invasive Species is owned and operated by the brewers themselves. Born and raised in South Florida, the taproom is a reflection of those brewers. It’s a one-of-a-kind museum of natural history meets urban warehouse – loaded floor to ceiling with all varieties of taxidermy. It sits in the heart of Flagler Village, an offshoot of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The beers are in a constant succession, with new offerings weekly. Twenty-four tap lines feature rotating beers, available only at the taproom, with no outside distribution. Invasive species brings together classic styles and modern experimentation. They focus on well crafted German style lagers, juicy IPAs, fruited kettle sours, and experimental varieties utilizing new techniques, experimental ingredients, and modern research. The brewers have decades of experience crafting beer at some of Florida’s largest breweries and have honed their craft over years to bring the very best beer to Fort Lauderdale. Invasive species is constantly innovating and known for some of Florida’s most progressive beers. The glue binding it together is a great crew of people that demonstrate the knowledge and passion for their craft that sets this place apart from the pack.
