Groupe des Brasseries du Maroc was created in 1919 by BGI Group. The company was a subsidiary of SNI until 2003, when it was taken over by the Castel Group. Initially specialized in drinks in Morocco and leader of the market, Groupe des Brasseries du Maroc has gradually diversified into the processing and distribution of local produce. Group Brasseries du Maroc employs 1103 people, and has achieved a consolidated turnover of 2.317,6 MMAD in 2013.
