Augustow Meadery was found in 2017 by Piotr Piłasiewicz and Paweł Kotwica - 2 friends from Treebeekeeping Brotherhood (www.bartnictwo.com/en) to support they organisation which help's to survive and develop the dark bees in they natural forest environment in Eastern Europe. First commercial mead was released at the end of 2018. Company is located in Town of Augustów, in North-East part of Poland just 50 km from Lithuanian and Belarus border. They products are inspired by the history and traditions of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth which is common heritage of modern Poland, Lithuania and Belarus.
