- PASSION FRUIT SOUR ALE // RŪGŠTUSIS PASIFLORŲ ELIS, This beer was brewed in collaboration with Christiania Bryghus from Copenhagen. It's a pretty classic Berliner Weisse style example with some additional fruitiness.This light bodied ale is brewed with Pilsner and wheat malts and clocks in at around just 3.5 abv. Our house lactic culture makes it sour. Some additional sourness is brought by the natural passion fruit puree that we used in the secondary fermentation. In order to boost it's fruity character even more we dry hopped this beer with Citra and Mosaic hops. Another interesting aspect of it - fruity fermentation. For the first time we used Fermoale Citrus yeast which is an aromatic yeast strain obtained from hybridization. It has really well pronounced lemon like profile.
