- North X Varvar: Barrel Aged Smoked Stout, Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Varvar Brewery in Ukraine to support the DEC Ukraine Appeal. Together we’ve brewed a strong and robust Imperial Stout made to replicate the flavours of Ukraine's famed smoked prunes. We’ve used a fine spread of dark roast malts as well as smoked malt making a rich and sweet base with incredible depth of flavour. We then let it rest in a blend of Laphroaig Whisky and second fill Bourbon and Whisky barrels deepening its palette. Luxurious dark roast coffee, essences of liquorice, caramelised muscovado and molasses are met with a boozy back tone of sweet bourbon and aged oak and an unmistakable smooth smoke flavour.
