- Original Sin Québécois Maple Barrel By Rackhouse, Last year we put our deeply chocolate Original Sin base into barrels that had been used for aging maple syrup in Québec, Canada. The leftover syrup in the barrels gives a confectionary punch to this imperial stout. This is balanced out by tobacco and toasted oak notes from the wood which had originally been used for bourbon. A delicate note of maple syrup rounds out this complex and sinfully rich beer. Santé! Serving: Snifter glass. 8°C
